Farming at Downlands
At Downlands we aim to produce some of the best tasting meat and eggs by working with nature. We’ve adopted a regenerative ethos towards the farm, where animals, people, and wildlife all play their part.
Our shorthorn cows, wild sika deer, turkeys, chickens, lambs and pigs are all part of the lands’ ecosystem, grazing in our fields and woodlands, helping to restore nature. Pasture-raised, our meat and eggs are different. Not only are they nutritionally richer, but they also connect people back to where food comes from.
Too often, we eat without thinking about the land and we want to change that.
We’re more than just a farm – it’s a project in regeneration, a journey to restore nature and soil – whilst creating some of the best tasting meat and eggs.
We’re excited to team up with The Ethical Butcher, who sell our produce, including our Woodland Turkeys.
